Performance Accountability Plan
In the spirit of transparency, the President’s performance targets and accountability framework, as approved by the Executive Committee of Athabasca University’s Board of Governors, is being shared broadly. As you may see, the President's deliverables are aligned with the Imagine: Transforming lives, Transforming communities strategic plan.
While this document has not been shared in years past, we want to be transparent in the development and communication of the president's performance metrics and role expectations. The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors agreed with the importance of sharing these deliverables publically to better inform the university community. Accountability for evaluating and managing the achievement of performance targets and outcomes remains a responsibility of the Board of Governors and the Board Chair.
Recongnizing that the president's annual deliverables represent only a portion of the Board's overall expectations of the president, we have also shared a simple graphic to demonstrate the varios roles of a President at Athabasca University.
